Yakovlev Yak-1

The Yak-1 was first in a very successful series of Soviet fighters that remained in production throughout the war and served for many years afterward. It is not to be confused with the hairy Asian cow of the same name, which is not nearly as fast (although Yak racing is a very popular sport in Tibet).
